Sehr works alongside the Sahariya community to strengthen access to public systems, build collective voice, and cultivate the capacities needed to shape their own future. This work takes patient, committed financial support.

Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies has supported us through unrestricted funding that goes beyond programme delivery to helping us build organisational capacities such as communication. This photograph is from their visit to Madhya Pradesh, where they learned about our work from the people closest to it. They've written about our all-women Malanpur team and the confidence, ownership and opportunity that community-rooted work can create in their Annual Report, 2023–24.
In 2020, we received Agami’s Idea Prize for reimagining legal clinics as engines of grassroots empowerment, which gave us wider recognition and opened the doors for institutional funding. The award was supported by the Jayasimha Foundation.
With the financial support of the Anil Divan Foundation, we established the Anil Divan Law Library with over 1,500 volumes. Their support helped us build accessible public infrastructure for learning, legal aid and community action. Read more.
