Tejaswita Malhotra

Co-lead

Sahariya Learning Collective

Tejaswita leads the Sahariya Learning Collective, building a space where Sahariya leaders and Sehr’s team learn with one another. She shapes its programme, facilitates learning processes and supports participants as they contribute to Samavesh and deepen the organisation’s community relationships.

Her experience with grassroots organisations and people’s collectives across India informs her work on forest, land, indigenous, gender and climate justice. Training in political science, social work and human-rights law supports an approach grounded in listening, collaboration and useful learning.

Tejaswita also brings an editor’s care from her work with Yuvaniya, a Hindi youth magazine. Her love of books, cats, gardens and exploring different cuisines reflects a curiosity that moves easily between people, ideas and the everyday worlds in which learning takes place.
