Sunil works with Sahariya villages to pursue forest-rights claims and navigate the systems surrounding them. He helps families use the Van Mitra portal, understand appeal procedures and strengthen the community institutions required for claims to move forward.

In one village, he found that families had not filed claims and that the Forest Rights Committee was inactive. After submitting applications for twenty families, he worked with residents to reactivate the committee and challenge the sarpanch’s attempt to act in its place.

With training in commerce and computer applications, Sunil combines digital confidence with village-level experience of public schemes. He enjoys travelling and learning new things, bringing curiosity and practical problem-solving to his work with tribal communities.
