Sanjeev documents stories emerging from Sahariya communities and helps carry them into Sehr’s newsletter and blog. He travels to villages, speaks with children, families and public institutions, identifies the human centre of a story and works with editors to shape words and images for publication.

His earlier work with migrant communities, an Enfold India fellowship and training with Sruti inform his understanding of gender, caste and social justice. These experiences help him approach storytelling as careful listening rather than simply producing content.

Sanjeev writes poetry and stories, reads widely and finds new perspectives through travel and friendships. Riding his bike gives him a sense of peace; that reflective attention also appears in the time he gives people before deciding how their experiences should be represented.
