Rajkumar works with Sahariya communities to document forest-rights violations, organise village awareness and carry local concerns into wider advocacy. He gathers evidence through community accounts, public departments and information requests, then helps people understand the law and act collectively.

When illegal plantation threatened community land, he documented the encroachment, prepared accessible information for residents and supported a representation before the State Level Monitoring Committee. He followed the matter until it received institutional attention.

With more than twenty years across land rights, livelihoods, education and self-help groups, Rajkumar has dedicated much of his life to Sahariya rights. Financial hardship interrupted his formal education, but sustained community practice has made him a trusted organiser and teacher.
