Swapnil helps shape Sehr’s direction by connecting grassroots experience, movement relationships and systems thinking. After leaving a law-firm job in Delhi, he joined Abhay in Shivpuri, practising with Sahariya communities and learning how legal action, public institutions and collective agency meet on the ground.
A graduate of NLU Odisha, he has defended the rights of prisoners, women, children, and Dalit and Adivasi communities, and works closely with forest-rights networks at state and national levels. He brings this grounding to programme design, organisational systems and communications, helping Sehr understand interconnections rather than respond to problems in isolation.
Swapnil is a footballer, enjoys photography and values a life of meaning over hustle. This perspective shapes the thoughtful pace and sense of purpose he brings to the organisation.
