Raju Ram

Lead

Land rights and criminal justice

Raju leads Sehr’s Land Rights and Criminal Justice team, coordinating lawyers and paralegals across three offices. He reviews cases, supports litigation strategy and helps the team plan, learn and remain accountable for the work it undertakes with Sahariya communities.

A graduate of NLU Odisha through the IDIA initiative, Raju worked as a YPPLE Fellow at the Centre for Social Justice before joining Sehr. His experience across field practice and legal strategy helps connect individual cases with patterns that can inform wider research and systemic responses.

Raju enjoys reading, writing poetry, and playing basketball. He values new ideas and meaningful friendships, bringing the same openness to the relationships through which teams think together and difficult cases move forward.
